01. Verify identification
  • To make a cleaner Internet environment, Joins requires members to verify their identification. Please note that an alien registration number can only be used once to create an account. Your information will not be revealed without your authorization. Joins membership is protected by our personal information protective policy.

Documents to verify identification
Photocopy of any of the following: ID card, alien registration card, passport.

Submission Period
You should send your documents within 10 days of signing up. (If documents are not received within 10 days, your registration information will be deleted)

Please send your document via email or fax and please include your email address to receive information about your signing up process. (Restricted to ID cards)

Foreign Certification Notice
Please take note that this membership is for foreigners residing outside of Korea without a Korean alien registration card or for foreigners residing in Korea.
Membership procedure is available in both English and Korean.
Under the “Residents Registration Law,” anyone who uses another individual’s personal information without permission is subject to legal penalty of under three years of imprisonment or a maximum of 10 million won in fines. (Enforcement date: 2006. Sept. 24)

Foreign members will have restrictions accessing some services that require Korean social security number confirmation.
